Why I Love Sunday

There's something special about Sundays. It always seems so quiet and gentle outside. It's a spiritual day for me. Most people go to church and turn to their religion on Sunday to celebrate their spirituality. For me it's different, I find my peace and my spirituality in my family.
I love Sundays because it's a day for sleeping in. No alarm clocks, or bright lights. Just snuggle down in deep morning sleep.
It's a day for waffles made with bananas and cinnamon. And the smell of bacon beckoning towards the togetherness of the kitchen.
It's a staying in your jammies all day day. And putting on whatever you feel like day.
Best of all it's a being together day. No work or school. No swim practice or cub scouts. No parent meetings or play dates. Just doing nothing together. That's why I love Sundays.

I know what you mean. Days together with nothing to do are my favorite days too.
I would love sundays too if i led a normal life..But, my "sundays" are usually in the middle of the week and they are different each week :)...I remember sundays being really wonderful as a kid though.
